He wanted to capture some beautiful photographs of the resilient and noble creatures that are native to Iceland. In our humblest of opinions, he has definitely succeeded. The horses are a crucial aspect of the Iceland story that is not always told. These animals have a magical quality to them and it is time for the rest of the world to learn more.

After all, these horses seem to be ready for their close up and who are we to deny them? Drew Doggett’s Instagram has always been popular but we are going to head out on a major limb and say that he is going to be even more beloved now. Who doesn’t love to look at pictures of beautiful horses? These are some of the most majestic creatures to walk the planet.

For those who have never been to Iceland, Skogafoss is one of the must-see locations that this country has to offer. This world-famous waterfall also provided a (literal) picture perfect background for Drew to use. These photos look like something out of an ancient myth. We cannot believe that these creatures exist in the present day.

If these horses did not exist, someone would have made them up. In the meantime, we are happy that Drew was willing to put in the time and effort to snag some awesome photos of these animals in their natural habitat. As for the other photos, they were taken at the Jokulsarlon location. This black sand beach is also a common location for sea ice.

These animals may live in a harsh environment but that does not mean that they are allowing these conditions to affect them. The horses are very friendly, according to Drew. Even as someone who takes pictures for a living, he found himself absolutely mesmerized by the horses and we are sure that you will, too. Be sure to pass this one along to your friends and loved ones as soon as possible.
