There have been reports that both Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus have spoken out for the first time since rumors about their divorce were confirmed. However, the middle Hemsworth brother is now claiming that he has in fact, not spoken to any reporters about the matter.
The celebrity couple has had their fair share of ups and downs since meeting while filming “The Last Song” back in 2010. Since then, they have been on and off throughout the years until they got married last December.
In the days following the announcement of the breakup, Liam has been staying with his older brother Chris Hemsworth. It was reported that the 29-year-old actor broke his silence and spoke with reporters.
He was reported to have said to the Daily Mail Australia:
“You don’t understand what it’s like. I don’t want to talk about it mate.”
But then later, he took to Instagram and posted that “the reported quotes” were false:

Hi all Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward. This is a private matter and I have not made, nor will I be making, any comments to any journalists or media outlets. Any reported quotes attributed to me are false. Peace and Love.
It is reported that he is heartbroken after pictures emerged of Cyrus kissing Kaitlynn Carter while on holiday in Lake Como – however, it has yet to be confirmed whether or not that was a catalyst to the split.
The singer has been active on her Instagram with plenty of scenic pictures and emotional captions such as “change is inevitable” and it’s useless to fight nature.

Don’t fight evolution, because you will never win. Like the mountain I am standing on top of , which was once under water , connected with Africa , change is inevitable. The Dolomites were not created over night, it was over millions of years that this magnificent beauty was formed. My dad always told me “ Nature never hurries but it is always on time”…. it fills my heart with peace and hope KNOWING that is true. I was taught to respect the planet and its process and I am committed to doing the same with my own …. ?
Cyrus says in her first post not to fight evolution, “because you will never win. Like the mountain I am standing on top of, which was once underwater, connected with Africa, change is inevitable. The Dolomites were not created overnight, it was over millions of years that this magnificent beauty was formed.”
Her Instagram posted added, “My dad always told me: ‘Nature never hurries but it is always on time’… it fills my heart with peace and hope knowing that is true. I was taught to respect the planet and its process and I am committed to doing the same with my own.”
All of her subsequent posts have all featured similar backgrounds, however, the captions vary between clichés like “New day. New adventure” and “Life’s a climb… but the view is great.”
There are some that think the climbing post is a reference to her song “The Climb” from “Hannah Montana: The Movie.”
The lyrics from the chorus in “The Climb” are as follows:
“There’s always gonna be another mountain,
I’m always gonna wanna make it move,
Always gonna be an uphill battle,
Sometimes I’m gonna have to lose,
Ain’t about how fast I get there,
Ain’t about what’s waiting on the other side,
It’s the climb.”
People reported that reps for both Hemsworth and Cyrus have released a statement saying, “Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers.”
In addition, the statement said, “They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
