Deadly wildfires are taking place in Northern and Southern California as we speak and the damages are impossible to ignore. The blazes are not expected to die down anytime soon. It could be several weeks before these areas are restored to normalcy. Many celebrities who reside in the Malibu region have been driven from their homes. In some cases, the homes are completely destroyed.
Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus are among this group of celebrities. While they are well known for their contributions to the world of entertainment, many of their fans have enjoyed getting the chance to get to know them better on Instagram. They are just like any other couple, except the rich and famous part. Liam and Miley have not lost sight of what truly matters, though.
It’s been a heartbreaking few days. This is what’s left of my house. Love. Many people in Malibu and surrounding areas in California have lost their homes also and my heart goes out to everyone who was affected by these fires.

Now that they have lost their home, they are letting everyone else in on their struggle. They are still wise enough to know just how lucky they are. One of the photos that they tweeted from the wreckage is a truly striking image. Somewhere in the midst of the rubble, the word LOVE was found. The couple is well aware of their good fortune and are looking to assist others.
Miley even took to social media so that she could spur her followers into action. She has over 40 million followers and she knew that their efforts could make a major difference at a time like this. Even action star Gerard Butler found himself affected by what had taken place. He is also encouraged by the incredible spirit that the firefighters have displayed.
Completely devestated by the fires affecting my community. I am one of the lucky ones. My animals and LOVE OF MY LIFE made it out safely & that’s all that matters right now. My house no longer stands but the memories shared with family & friends stand strong. I am grateful for

These celebrities understand just how fortunate they are and they are letting the rest of the world know. Butler’s house was only destroyed partially but he is still spreading the word about the importance of supporting the Los Angeles Fire Department. He is also encouraging his fans to take action against the climate change that led to this natural disaster.
We must all do our part to make sure that these types of occurrences no longer take place. Be sure to pass this story along to your closest friends and loved ones so that money can be raised on behalf of the victims of these fires. We, as a people, have the power to make a change if we choose to use it. Let’s all pitch in and help out in any way that we can!
Returned to my house in Malibu after evacuating. Heartbreaking time across California. Inspired as ever by the courage, spirit and sacrifice of firefighters. Thank you @LAFD. If you can, support these brave men and women at https://t.co/ei7c7F7cZx. pic.twitter.com/AcBcLtKmDU
