Keira Knightly Shows Off Her Bizarre Talent On Talk Show

Have you ever noticed how people with a particular talent also tend to have more talents? That is the case with Keira Knightley, who showcased a rather unusual ability recently.

The English actress, who is now officially appointed as an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) was on the Graham Norton Show recently and she did something that took everyone by surprise.

The Graham Norton Show puts on a ‘party pieces’ segment on New Year’s Eve and the guests are able to show their hidden talents. When Keira was asked to do so, she did something that most people had never seen before.

The other guests did some opera singing and one did a baby crying impersonation but Keira topped them all by playing her teeth as a musical instrument.

“I can play my teeth! … I can play anything you want,” she excitedly told Norton,

You heard that right, she tapped her fingernails against her teeth to play Hal David and Burt Bacharach’s 1969 hit, “Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on My Head.”

If you can’t quite picture it, here it is in all its glory:

She also talked about receiving the letter sent to her about the OBE. She hesitated for an unusual reason:

“I didn’t open the envelope for about three days,” she said. “It was from the Home Office and it was terrifying because I thought I was in trouble with tax and that I had messed it up and that they were going to take away the house. So, I hid the letter!”

She continued, “After three days, I thought, ‘I am a mother. I am responsible, and I am going to confess to my husband that I’ve messed up,’ So, I opened it, and it was a prize!”

The OBE ceremony for Knightley included some controversy because she had some not so nice things to say about the appearance of Kate Middleton after giving birth. She was giving an essay about her own experience with childbirth and pregnancy and said that Middleton “was out of hospital seven hours later with her face made up and high heels on,” sends an unrealistic image to women.

“The face the world wants to see. Hide. Hide our pain, our bodies splitting, our breasts leaking, our hormones raging. Look beautiful, look stylish, don’t show your battleground, Kate,” she added.
